It’s a great day for our project. We are ready to share our vision and the first results of our work with the community today. Read this article and learn why we decided to create Vigvam, how it’s different from other wallets, and what we plan to achieve in the next year.
Our team has been working in crypto since 2017 and has been following all ups and downs of the market very closely. Many good products have indeed been released over the years, and so many alternative blockchains became popular as well. However, as regular dApp users, we couldn’t find a wallet that would be secure and convenient to use all at the same time. There are some wallets that can be used to store tokens, but not too many options for easy interaction with the dApps. Metamask is a proven software but it is not as easy to navigate as you would expect it to be. Other popular wallets have user-friendly interfaces but, unfortunately, have limited functionality and are not open-sourced. We decided to change this situation and came up with a unique solution on our own.
What is Vigvam?
Vigvam is an open-source browser extension and crypto wallet designed for the most popular blockchain networks: Ethereum, Polygon, Binance Smart Chain, Optimism, Avalanche, and other EVM based blockchains.
There are plenty of mobile wallets for the following networks, so our main focus is developing Vigvam for desktop users only.
What are we trying to achieve?
Having a safe and secure wallet that offers a smooth user experience is essential for the future popularization of blockchain technologies. We know it and we stand by this belief. And so we created Vigvam. Our goal is to build the most convenient wallet for work with decentralized applications: DeFi, NFT, Games, Social.

This is only the beginning. We strive to become the number one Web 3.0 wallet on the market and have the technical skills and experience needed to achieve our goal!
What do we need from you?
As we mentioned before, we want to create the best wallet on the market, but it is impossible to do without your feedback and support. What features would you like to see first? How can we make your experience with the wallet more convenient? What has to be changed? There are a lot of questions that only you can answer! The current status
Vigvam is an open source project. You may follow our work on GitHub and discover how it reaches the connection to the blockchain and how it processes the transactions. We are currently developing the Public Beta version that should be released soon. During the development process, we will publish a developer diary on Medium, so feel free to subscribe.
